I was able to meet some of the team from Damasteel back at Blade Show 2024, and I was able to acquire this beautiful bar of their stainless Damascus. Having successfully worked with stainless steels over the last 2 years, I felt confident enough to work on this recently.
The stainless Damascus pattern is subdued, but works beautifully with the Kaotic Artworks Resin handle and black paper micarta bolster secured with a black G10 pin. The handle tapers towards the blade with some thickness left in the rear and palm for a multitude of comfortable grips. There are grooves at the bolster area allowing for a more comfortable pinch grip if you prefer.
Damasteel makes some of the finest stainless steels available, and the results are a highly functional, aesthetically pleasing blade that is guaranteed to start conversations.
