Here is a beautiful Puukko forged from Damasteel blade in "Grosserosen" pattern. This is a superior stainless steel that is gorgeous and capable. The handle is stabilized toasted curly maple with a Trustone "Turqouise with Gold web" spacer and aluminum bronze fittings.
The construction is through tang design with the end peened out for a full mechanical hold on the blade. Includes a handmade Puukko sheath with a wooden insert, or "lesta."
